Color Blocking Is Back – Fall Trend 2018

How do you feel about the color blocking trend? I’m actually loving it, but I don’t think I could pull off some of the looks as they can be pretty bold. I guess it depends what colors are mixed together. I definitely like to see all the Autumn colors together because these are the ones that are usually toned down; for example, beige and brown, or mustard and burgundy. The more funky combinations (neons and bright colors) on the other hand, would be good when you want to add a pop of color to one color outfit. It’s definitely a nice trend to play around with and I love how you can find so many color blocking pieces out there not only featuring interesting color combinations but also different shapes and color blocking patterns. That being said, I’m leaving you with these fun color blocking pieces that I see myself wearing. Which one is your favorite?

Fall is almost here so I decided to present you with the latest trends this season. As you can see, the ruffles/bell sleeves trend is not going anywhere. All kinds of pieces from sweaters to dresses feature this beautiful detail. I don’t know about you, but I don’t mind at all. Suede and velvet has come back too. I really embrace the suede waterfall collar coats and I’m planning to get one for sure. Suede booties look really nice too. Velvet looks great on dresses, purses and jackets. And how do you like the ripped/distresed trend this Fall? This is definitely new and not for everyone, but I’m sure people that love street style will love it.

Gingham dresses are so popular this Spring that I decided to get one of my own as well. This Red Checkered Double Godet Front Ruffle Dress is absolutely beautiful and it’s only $22! I love its baby doll silhouette which makes it very flowy and flirty. Overall it’s super cute and definitely a steal in comparison to identical dresses in stores now that go for $50 or more! It’s perfect for girls day out or paired with a straw hat, and would look great on the beach as well. Oh, and let’s not forget about all the upcoming Holidays such as Memorial Day, or Fourth of July on which every girl would love to wear it for sure. Get yours here:
